Smiley Stars Nursery has taken over since 23/08/2023.

Hickory Dickory House Nursery, established in April 2002, and is situated in Pollokshaws within close proximity of Pollokshaws West train station and many bus routes on Pollokshaws Road. We are a 15 minute walk from Shawlands and a short drive from the M77 and M8 motorways. Pollok Country Park is a short walk from the nursery and children enjoy weekly outings there.

At Hickory Dickory House we offer a safe, friendly environment where children experience a variety of activities using curriculum framework Pre-Birth to Three and Curriculum for Excellence. Outside children have the opportunity to play and explore in all weathers in our large fully enclosed garden.

We provide quality childcare for babies and young children between 6 weeks and 5 years old.
Our opening hours are 8am-6pm Monday-Friday and we offer full and part-time placements as well as term-time and where possible shift patterns can be accommodated.

The nursery cook provides fresh home cooked lunches and nutritious snacks in line with the ‘Setting The Table’ Guidelines for Early Years and our Healthy Eating Policy.
